Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are becoming more capable. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and are able to handle different flooring. Find models that allow you to choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty and clean up the stairs.

A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Check for an app that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the S1's behavior.
When I tried the S1, it was able to locate our downstairs, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even over thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or carpets.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills the water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them becoming blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for cleaning. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a variety of innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of just moving a pad across the surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station, if required.
This robot has an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically filled or empty. It comes with a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction which can easily remove dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, too, even though it does sometimes get hung in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual boundary in the application). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with two spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station whenever required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It works equally well on hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can move from one room to another without changing direction which is a great feature for homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than some competitors and leaves a large margin around obstacles. This can result in missed spots.
The app features a simple, intuitive interface that should be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll require a stable internet connection to use it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of picking up debris and dirt, but it can't always be able to reach every piece of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, particularly to remove dust from corners and on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mops, is designed to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your home WiFI network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by eliminating mopping functions and using a cheaper plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen at this price, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It has a smart app that lets you schedule cleanings and choose the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't show any problems with carpets with high piles or area rug, but it was unable to clean up cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home this will allow it to enter the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. automated vacuum cleaner has the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters that further lower the expenses associated with using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets and increase suction when needed. You can also mark off areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
