Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to tidy up mess fast then a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops I've tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks with an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combination. It has the latest features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile, and it picked up pet hair and human dander almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a mini map of your home and some on-screen buttons to control the device manually.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to alter the cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.
It has a variety of other innovative features as well, including a different dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to clean and wash the mop roller, without having refilling it manually. You can also make use of voice commands using the built-in voice assistant of the S8 that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular control options with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that can also mop. It's one of the combinator robot vacuums that include mops that are also available at a lower cost than the competition.
Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves setting up an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the machine will start vacuuming and mops with ease.
It is important to remember that the mapping process could take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate picture of your living space. Additionally, object detection can be hit or miss; it was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to flip it over to get free. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an appliance that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned, not just swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums cannot.

This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional intelligent features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home's layout better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to customize a number of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging station after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins, and put the waste in bags that self-seal. This helps to keep the system clean and prevents allergens from recirculating. Its battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without the need for a recharge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop that has impressive features for a reasonable price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets and a great obstacle-avoiding. It also boasts a unique mopping method, which uses a roller continuously dosed with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It stayed clear of the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing. However, it struggled with fine engrained debris and wasn't always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating noise is also high, and it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than others.
automatic vacuum , like most robotic vacuums, comes with a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin and wash and dry the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in regular schedules. Eufy's app lets you control all its functions. It gives you clear information and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best vacuums/mowers that are available. It offers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with good precision, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, set zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This is an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system also incorporates smart carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're close to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating the carpet.
The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free center for maintenance that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they are empty.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8, this robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an outline of your area which allows it to know where not to go. It has an object/obstacle detector that will stay clear of things like dog bowls and toys (but not the poop), unlike many vacuums.
It has other great notable features, like the self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to areas other mops miss. You can also alter the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets with high-pile rugs. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring options in your home and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock that has advanced mapping features this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good choice. It comes with a variety of features that include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's quite quiet and can navigate between furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick knots in the rug, and its battery drains faster than other models we tested.
With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and a handy automation into a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it performed very well overall. It has a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the quiet mode with low power for light debris to the powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and replace its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped areas. It's quiet and quick, and it does a good job of getting around tight spots. It's also excellent at removing pet hair from carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a good amount of suction power, and it is able to take a picture of each object it picks up (i.e. chew toys, or socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they don't get removed during subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and not connected to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but it's not so well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
